A selection of work from the past two years with Havas Media Group – JUMP. All of which I played a part in, whether I was acting as Agency Producer, Leading, developing commercials and pitching or supporting the wider team. JUMP was a full-service Content Division, within Havas Media Group, we were the first point of call for any project that was not a direct media buy. This meant we got to dabble in a number of different projects. Our bread and butter – Media Partnerships, growing channels included Branded Content, Social Content and Influencer Marketing.
Original Content Series + Talent / Social Adverts
Stakeholder Management, Commercial Negotiation, Production Delivery, Team Management
Delivering a number of original content projects for O2. From a series of short social adverts to promote new product launches to a six-episode original content series to align one of their content pillars and a key commercial partnership.
The Family Plan content was delivered in a one day London shoot, with Ferne Cotton, sharing her own experiences of communicating with family and friends. Delivered with Havas’ Production Team these short adverts where delivered end to end in two weeks.
The Travel Fan in Japan consisted of six episodes, following Ex England and Harlequins player Ugo Monye and Made in Chelseas’ Jamie Laing, as they explore Japan and familiarise themselves with Bushido values, featuring nine members of England’s 2019 World Cup Squad and teh England team manager. The series generated over 506K views, increasing O2 Sport’s YouTube subscribers by 45%. 121k views were completely organic with an average VTR of 41%. This helped O2 create 8.8m acts of support and saw O2 become the no.1 brand associated with rugby union.. JUMP and HKXP ran the entire production from creative to delivery and distribution with Havas Media Group. Two shots in Japan and a 45 days of post production.
Social Content – Original Shorts / Christmas Advert
Project Lead, Commercials, Client Management, Production Management, Delivery
I ran multiple projects for Parcelforce Worldwide. Two of my favourites, the development of a new series Parcelforce Originals – The Side Hustle. Insight driven, utilising owned data to create targetted case studies. Showing how Parcelforce customers and specifically those that had a 9-5, where developing a side hustle utilising Parcelforce services to turn their hobby into something bigger. We profiled Greg from Outhouse, providing insights, strategy, creative, production and promotion of the content. This really was a project that I owned from the beginning and enjoyed seeing it through.
Second, The 2019 Last Post Dates Christmas Advert. Delivered in just three weeks. Working with the JUMP creative team to develop a simple story of young Alfie who wants to send his grandparents a Christmas Gift in Australia. Produced by HKXP.
Infographic design and creation
Inter-agency management, art direction, delivery of end product
Supporting Havas Performance in the creation of Performance Content. From data driven and SEO optimised editorial to Infographics for link building purposes.
I worked with Havas Performance and HKXP design team to create a number of infographics for Audley Villages. Providing support and art direction for a SEO campaign.
Ident Agency Production and Client Management
Project owner, Production Partnership, Multiple Parter Communication, Client Management, Agency Management
I was lucky enough to run the first TV based advertising campaign for Plymouth Gin in the UK. Havas Media and JUMP brokered the deal with UKTV for a four week run from Nov – Dec 2018 in time for Christmas trade.
As part of the sponsorship deal JUMP delivered the 10′ sponsorship bumpers. Working with HKXP to concept, produce and deliver to channel. No clear cast required as this was a sponsorship and not an advert. We delivered eight idents across three different scenes on a single day shoot. I acted as Agency Producer for this production, working closely with the production team, media teams, UKTV and the client to ensure all was delivered on time and on spec.
The sales uplift were so strong, Plymouth extended the sponsorship into early 2019
Technology – Alexa Skill Development
Briefing, Commercial Development, Client Management, Testing, Delivery
We didn’t just deliver content, in fact the video below was not created by JUMP. This was delivered by the internal content team at Royal Mail. However I use this video to showcase the Alexa Skill that we developed for Royal Mail in the run up to Christmas.
Turned around in less than a month, I worked with Havas Technology lead to create this skill to highlight last post dates to all of the countries that Royal Mail could deliver to. Whether you wanted to send a simple letter or parcel. It even highlighted last post dates to armed forces in certain locations. This helped ease pressure on Royal Mail call centres and was promoted via a social media campaign run by Socialyse and Arena Media.
Podcast Production + Management
Project Owner, Concepting, Planning, Booking, Delivery, Uploading
An interesting one. I worked with John Bishop and his son to pilot a new Podcast series for them. What The Bishop was a chat show whereas John and Joe would welcome interesting guests and discuss/debate different subjects.
I worked with Joe on planning and creative and Universal Music Group on studio bookings, production and editing. I’d also engaged Global as a distribution partner and was looking into commercial models that would work for John, Global and JUMP. It was very much a test and learn. We decided that the time was not right to pursue the full series. But, we had a lot of fun pulling this pilot together. A Christmas special with Dave Tomlinson.
AFP Agency Production + Multiple Partners
Agency Producer, Client Management, Dubai Shot
As part of a wider sponsorship deal that JUMP and Arena Media brokered with Channel4. We created two 15 minute destinations guides to align with the Singapore and Tokyo Grand Prix. The perfect match as Emirates where a brand sponsor of the F1.
Working with Channel4, Whisper Films, Geometry and Arena Media. JUMP supported the content element of these AFP’s which where homed on a program hub on All4 – https://www.channel4.com/programmes/off-the-grid.
Acting as Agency producer, I managed the Emirates clients across three shot days in Dubai to capture the opening sequence, our opportunity to incorporate the brand. The content was promoted via two 30-second co-branded ads in key Channel 4 programming including the Grand Prix’s themselves, plus Gogglebox and First Dates. It was also commissioned for a 30 min slot before the Abu Dhabi race.
